I tried Subtext IRL.

That is, I tried to do what Subtext does with real life code. Manually.

Backstory
showed it to team - saw opportunity in code - author of code couldnt remember the logic after a month
downloaded code, ran the debug version.
Actual Trial
read code - created in xls- difficult to do the partitioning and automatic jumps - keeping all the gaps in the head is not easy
Findings
- issues with local vars. subtext doesnt need them!
- object attrs an issue. does subtext need them?
- refactoring would make the logic to humans clearer, but maybe left to itself a subtext engine would refactor differently?
